“Godzilla Minus One” is a 2023 Japanese epic kaiju film, the 37th in the Godzilla franchise, and the fifth installment of the Reiwa era. It portrays Godzilla as a fearsome, mutated creature emerging in post-World War II Japan, plunging the nation into a state of “below zero”. The film focuses on the struggles of a kamikaze pilot, Koichi Shikishima, and other survivors as they confront the monstrous threat and rebuild their lives amidst the devastation.

“Terror of Mechagodzilla” (1975) is a Japanese science fiction monster film, the final installment in the original “Showa” series of Godzilla films. It features the return of Mechagodzilla, rebuilt by aliens from a dying planet, who plan to destroy Earth with the help of a disgraced scientist and his cyborg daughter. Godzilla must once again battle Mechagodzilla and Titanosaurus, a giant dinosaur controlled by the aliens, to save humanity.
